Senior International Master Kylie-Jane Vaughan started her martial arts career in Australia in 1984 at the age of eleven with Master Kim, Sung Hwan and Master Stephen Washington as her instructors of record, throughout her outstanding career she has represented her country at numerous Local, National and International events from 1985 through to 2001, having great success by taking out major placing winning gold in sparring, weapons, forms and demonstration.

She has continued her commitment to the art of Tang Soo Do for over 35 years, and in 2019 she received the senior rank of 7th Dan Master. Master Vaughan is currently the Chief Instructor of the South Australian Tang Soo Do Karate Academy at its Headquarters located at 80 Victor Harbor Road Old Noarlunga.

With over 35 years experience as an Instructor, Master Vaughan comes highly qualified as an internationally accredited senior Instructor. Travelling both internationally and interstate Master Vaughan has gained a wealth of knowledge, skills and methodologies from her experiences in training, teaching, competing and officiating at the highest level.

• Accredited International Judge and Referee.
• Certified 4th Degree Master March 2001.
• Certified 5th Degree Master March 2005.
• Certified 6th Degree Master March 2012.
• Certified 7th Degree Master March 2019.
• Qualified Senior First Aid Officer.
